TELEHEALTH  EVALUATION AND TREATMENT SESSIONS

Due to the current Covid-19 emergency – Telehealth evaluation and treatment sessions are now available with easy videoconference connectivity access on Doxy.me from the comfort of your home or office. This ensures seamless education and instruction in a home program empowering each person to heal and achieve their recovery goals in a functional and meaningful way. 

Telehealth provider registration is approved for people living in:

PHYSICAL TREATMENT LOCATIONS

CHELSEA – Studio 26 – a boutique eco-friendly Pilates studio and fitness center. 

250 West 26th Street, 4th Floor, Chelsea, New York, 10001 (between 7th/8th Avenue)

Subway access: 1, C, E

UNION SQUARE – Wellspace Rooms

32 Union Square East, Suite 410/411, Union Square, NY, 10003 (between 15th and 16th Street).

Subway access: N, Q, R, 4, 5, 6, L

Private treatment rooms in both locations are quiet, calm and conducive to healing.

TREATMENT DURATION

One hour focused sessions with Physical Therapist, Leah Segelov, PT, M.A

TREATMENT HOURS

Monday – Thursday: 10am – 6pm

Sunday: 10am -1pm 

PAYMENT

Leah accepts payment by credit card at this time. Payment is expected at time of service.

Receipts can be submitted to your health insurance provider for out of network benefits and reimbursement.

DIRECT ACCESS

Under New York State Law:

  • Physical Therapy treatment can be rendered without a referral for 10 visits or 30 days, whichever comes first.
  • Services without a referral might not be covered by your health plan, even out of network. Please call your provider to confirm.
  • Services might be covered by your health plan with a referral.

REFERRALS

You may obtain a referral for physical therapy from your primary care physician, orthopedist, specialist, or dentist (TMJ disorders).
